Killian Jones

Killian Jones, most commonly known as Hook, is one of the main protagonists in ABC's Once Upon a Time. He began the series as an antagonist and Rumpletstiltskin's greatest foe. After the death of his first love, Milah, Killian became known as Captain Hook, wielding a hook for a hand and vowed to destroy Rumplestiltskin to avenge his lover's death. However, he turned over the thirst for revenge and fell in love with Emma Swan, the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. He never was a victim of the first nor second curses but was a victim of the third curse.

Biography[]

Before the First Curse[]

Killian was born as the second-born child to Brennan and Alice Jones in the Enchanted Forest circa 200 years before the show's events. His mother Alice died when he was young, but she tried to stay with him as long as she could ("Elois Gardner"). Killian also was very close to his older brother, Liam. However, when both sons were asleep, Brennan sold his sons to slavery so he could be able to escape. Years later, Killian and Liam were able to escape this by Liam indirectly Killing their boss, Captain John Silver and are offered a chance in the King's Royal Navy ("Swan Song", "The Brothers' Jones").
