Princess Ella "Cinderella" Mills is a fictional character in Once Upon a Time and the female protagonist of season seven. She is the wife [1] of Henry Mills, the mother of Lucy and daughter-in-law of Emma Swan and Neal Cassidy and stepdaughter-in-law of Killian Jones and the sister-in-law of Hope Jones.
In Hyperion Heights, she is known as Jacinda,, a single mother raising her daughter and her best friend Tiana has become Sabine. Jacinda later attempts to call Henry, but he is unable to answer it.
She is an alternate universe version of Cinderella (Ashley Boyd).

Name
- Ella: The name "Ella" is a diminuitive form of the name Eleanor or Ellen [2], translating to "bright, shining one."
- Cinderella: Rapunzel was the one who added "Cinder" to Ella's name.
- Ella became Princess Ella after marrying Henry, whose mother is also a princess and his mother a queen, therefore, making Henry a prince and Ella a princess by marrying her.
Trivia
- Lucy's mother was confirmed to not Violet, nor was she Moana from the 2016 film of the same name. She is this generation's version of Cinderella.
- Ella is based on Cinderella from the same name, and also alludes to Charlotte from The Princess and the Frog, due to both Charlotte and Ella being best friends of Tiana on the Show.
